What's wrong with Aucklanders???

Hey whats wrong with us?? Yes, I am talking to all the Aucklanders out there.. have we forgotten our courtesies??? It's been a while since I have heard anyone say "THANK YOU" to a bus driver when he/she alights the bus or even someone who gives you way on the road or at an intersection. Kiwis, are supposed to be really courteous and polite but off late I haven't seen them say a "THANX, driver" for quite sometime.

I wonder what is wrong to the KIWI attitude, been born and brought up in India still I always have thanked the driver either Auckland or even Mumbai for that mattera and even taxi drivers. These are basic manners but I think Kiwis are forgettign them slowly and steadily.
