Would you believe this.... I was walking down a street with my flatmate on a Sunday evening.. It was about 6:00 pm .. I walked past the local police station and the door read "CLOSED" I was like WHAT THE HELL!!! how can a police station be closed? btu yeah that is the trust I couldnt take a picture of the place but it is true.. so next tiem when I go past that police station I will make sure I take a picture of it for you all to belive me ..

Its not that the area is very quiet, that area has a lot of notorious people living around who would over speed, break a couple of other traffic rules, drugs, etc etc .. Well cant say much if Helen has no problem with it.

Finally!!!

After a lot of PATIENCE AND PERSEVERANCE we have attained our own copy of the PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. My flatmate has managed to get her own copy of the movie after persistantly looking for it in practically every store of Auckland.

This picture of Colin Firth is my dedication to her. I know she will love it.

CLEANING HOUSE FOR 2007

Last Week I threw out WORRYING,
It was getting old and in the way.
It kept me from being me,
I couldn't do things my way.

I threw out those inhibitions,
They were just crowding me out.
Made room for my New Growth,
Got rid of my old dreams and doubts.

I threw out a book on MY PAST
(didn't have time to read it anyway).
Replaced it with New Goals,
Started reading it today.

I threw out childhood toys
(remember how I treasured them so)?
Got me a NEW PHILOSOPHY too,
Threw out the one from long ago.

Bought in some new books too,
Called I CAN, I WILL, and I MUST.
Threw out I might, I think and I ought.
WOW, You should've seen the dust.

I ran across an OLD FRIEND,
Haven't seen him in a while.
I believe his name is GOD,
Yes, I really like His style.

He helped me to do some cleaning
And added some thing's Himself.
Like PRAYER, HOPE and FAITH,
Yes I placed them right on the shelf.

I picked up this special thing
And placed it at the front door.
I FOUND IT - its called PEACE.
Nothing gets me down anymore.

Yes, I've got my house looking nice.
Looks good around the place.
For things like Worry and Trouble
There just isn't any place.

I have read my first Mills and Boon and I don’t believe it was a very clean book. Its called Plain Jane’s Prince Charming by Melissa McClone. The book contains no vulgarity. Its more of a fairy tale, its about how Jane is running a fundraiser to help her friend whose daughter is suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) and her Prince Charming, the director of Cyberworx helps her through it. The book has truly touched my heart. It talks about how children die/suffer of cancer when their parents cant afford the treatment or have no health insurance.

Lucky Boy!

Last Night Lucky slept in my room and believe me he slept like a baby. He was looking soo cute rolled up in his bed. He only woke me at 5:15 am when his owner was back home.

I didnt take his pic when he was sleeping as it would disturb him hence I have posted this picture of him when he came to our house during Christmas. He is my baby. My good boy!

It seems our new guest is not very happy with our house or our company. He hasn’t slept in last two nights and has kept us up too.

This little boy has been whimpering and barking and banging our main door and even our bedroom doors, jumping around the house and on us. He hasn’t slept for last two nights and hasn’t let anyone of us sleep either.

The first night, he saw me and my flatmate sitting in her room and the room was locked so he was sitting out of the bedroom door and when we opened the door he was soo excited, he was jumping around the room and on us too. I somehow relaxed him and my flatmate very strictly ordered him “IN THE BED” he went to the bed whimpering but was up all night, banging, roaming and then when his owner came at 5:00 am he started barking and woke her up.

Last night he was quieter but he didn’t sleep last night either. Each time I went to check on him he would be wide awake but quietly lieing in his bed or whimpering and standing at the main door, asking someone to let him out. This morning when he woke my flatmate at 5:00 am he rushed into her room and hopped onto her bed.

My bottom line after this two day experience with a dog is that they are like a little baby who needs a lot of love and attention and it is indeed NOT easy to own a dog.

We have a new novelty in our house, our new guest is Lucky, my landlord’s dog, he is having a night out in our house for this week as his owner is doing night shifts. Moreover, with my job having started and Lucky coming in and going out of the house life looks much more fuller.

During my break I havent been snoozing only. I have been doing a few activities like watch movies and movies and even more movies. Watched quiet a lot of Bond series, Basic, Phenomenon, Vivah, shaadi se pehle, Monster-in-law, 13 going on 30, casino royale, the departed, 4 weddings and 1 funeral, the firm, the client, the pride and prejudice and I think a few more that I have missed. I have managed to do a little cleaning, cooking, eat out, reading, driving, meeting friends, seeing places, visiting people, going on walks, Not to forget shopping and etc etc. Well I made the most of it during my 3 weeks break.
