Yesterday I had my training but the weather was pretty nasty, we suffered a storm. Winds blowing at the speed of 120km/hr... It was freezing. Almost 20000 houses had no power supply and some of them still dont have... Motorways were packed due to accidents and trees falling all over the place. Our office roof made such weird sounds, we wondered it would blow off.

Anyways my work seems pretty ok but I am looking for more opportunities. They have a vacancy in the same company for a different position.. well I am going to give it a try.

It seems like its a making up season, Off late I have been catching up with lots of old friends, whom I haven't got in touch with for ages for some reason or the other... Some of my friends had seperated from their lovers for some reason are patching up and moving ahead in life.. I am soo happy for them. God bless them.

A New Drama took place yesterday, We were making raita and when I was pouring the yogart in the bowl I found the colour weird. When I checked the yogurt it read Vanila, me and my flatmate laughed we had picked vanila flavoured yogurt instead of the simple yogurt we usually buy. Anyways, We All Learn. We made the raita in the normal way and added extra chilly powder to compensate for the sweet taste and trust me it tasted awesome. Well each day I learn soemthign new and today I learnt to make methi tomorrows plan is potato salad and fruits, light dinner as we have been eating a lot over the weekend.

One of my other passions is reading and photography. I inherit both from my dad and reading is in my family blood. Now a days I am reading a book by Robin Sharma, The Monk who sold his ferrari. The movie was depicted from this book. Its a very intresting book.

This book is about a very rich, brilliant and famous man who comes from a very reputed family of lawyers. He is so much entangled in his legal profession that he fails to see what all he has lost in life. He has a failed marriage, doesn't talk to his father and most of all doesn't know himself. At his age of 53 he looks like a 70 year old man and then a heart attack changes his life.

He goes to India in search for his answers and his quest to know himself starts in real sense when he reaches the Himalayas in search of a mentor. I am not a very spiritual person but then the para which I read moved me. It says... Life is all about choices, when you make a choice in your life, destiny unfolds according to the choices one makes.

Life changes with day and with each passing day you learn something new… My first Shopping experience was weird I didn’t know what to buy how much to buy what it should smell like etc… But as my flatmate says we all learn. Today was one weird experience I had, I tried to make dal and I forgot to boil it… Shit if my mom knows of this entire incident she would have a hearty laugh at me… I think I know why God has sent me here to make a more responsible and a complete human out of me. I am happy I am here. Thank You, God.

I got my first job last week. It was a weird incident; I just walked into the office and asked them if they had any positions vacant and the lady at the reception, Brenda is what I recollect her name was asked me to have a seat. A young lady walked into the room, I don’t quite recall her name asked me to fill out an application form. She told me that they never took people who walked in like that but because the candidate who was supposed to come to interview today had failed to make it I could make the most of it. She took my typing speed they were not looking for a great speed just 30 words per minute and accuracy of 85% and to my surprise my accuracy was 90% but I was quite disappointed with my typing speed of only 31 w/m. After that I had an interview which dealt with vocabulary which was successful as well and in around 35 minutes I was employed. It’s a call center. A market research company called the Research Solutions. It’s a part time job but anything for a start is fine with me. I noticed a different confidence in me today, the confidence and the vocabulary I used while I was conversing with the staff there was quite different. I am looking forward to this job and I have a feeling that this job experience will take me to some better place in future. Well I think it all will come with time.
